Abstract
A self-affinity test for turbulent time series is applied to experimen tal data for the estimation of intermittency exponents. The method emp loys exact relations satisfied by joint expectations of observables co mputed across two different length scales. One of these constitutes a verification tool for the existence and the extent of the inertial ran ge.
