QUANTITATIVE-EVALUATION OF MALIGNANCY-ASSOCIATED CHANGES OF DNA IN THE NUCLEI OF BUCCAL EPITHELIUM IN FIBROADENOMA, FIBROADENOMATOSIS AND BREAST-CANCER

The present work is devoted to the investigation of malignancy-associa ted changes in buccal epithelium in fibroadenoma, fibroadenomatosis an d cancer of mammary gland. Quantitative evaluaion verifying the existe nce of malignancy-associated changes in the buccal epithelium in oncol ogical patients was obtained. It was shown that the data an DNA conten t in the nuclei of epitheliocytes of buccal epithelium in the complex with other indices that characterize the texture of chromatin in the i nterphase nuclei, can serve for differential diagnosis between benign and malignant processes and also as a marker of the presence of malign ant tumour in the organism.
