Abstract
Nonwoven sandwich structures based on natural-fibre blends, PP and oth er synthetic fibres offer the advantage of light weight in interior au tomotive applications. In the event of side impact, such components do not fracture with a sharp edge and so passenger safety is increased. The article describes a method for the production of these nonwovens.
