Abstract
It is shown that, by the use of the Hilbert transform, it is possible to obtain values of the imaginary component, chi''(omega), of the AC m agnetic susceptibility of a colloidal suspension of single-domain magn etic particles, from experimental measurements of the real component, chi'(omega).
