Ah. Wafik et al., COMPOSITION DEPENDENCE OF DISCONTINUOUS MAGNETIZATION IN LI-TI FERRITES, Journal of physics. D, Applied physics, 26(11), 1993, pp. 2010-2014
The potential difference V(B) and the frequency F(B) of Barkhausen jum
ps were measured in Li0.5+0.5xTixFe2.5-1.5xO4 (where x < 0-0.7). In th
e low range of magnetizing currents, the addition of Ti enhances the i
rreversible changes of magnetization. In the high range of magnetizing
currents, V(B) decreases with increasing Ti content. For each composi
tion V(B) shows a maximum value (V(B) max) corresponding to a certain
value of the magnetizing current (l(m)). V(B) max and l(m) decrease wi
th increasing Ti content. The sample with x = 0.1 causes the eddy curr
ents to decrease by about 67% relative to a sample with x = 0.0. The s
intering temperature has a considerable effect on V(B).
