SOLFOS MULTIFUEL BURNERS WITH SINGLE OR TWIN AIR-FLOW AND RADIANT TYPE BURNERS

Since 1995, the three slab reheating furnaces of Sollac Fos have been fitted with new burners (lateral, front and top burners). These burner s called ''Solfos'' were developed, tested and made by Sollac. They br ing together thermal qualities (a very high efficiency, high impulse f or combustion products and thermal uniformity) and a very low pollutio n emission (NOx). They have contributed to a decrease of about 15 to 2 0 % of the thermal consumption of the furnaces.
