Abstract
This paper considers the performance of fuzzy control schemes under ra ndom excitation and parameter uncertainties. Estimates for the probabi lity of controller instability conditions are derived using a simplifi ed response surface approach combined with FORM/SORM approximations. ( C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
