Abstract
The male of Calocaecilius decipiens Mockford is described for the firs t time, based on a single specimen from Sarawak. Male characters suppo rt the former placement of Calocaecilius as the unique genus of its su bfamily. This taxon forms a sister-group with the Amphipsocinae, which contains all other genera of the family.
