Abstract
alpha-particle decays from several excited states in C-11, C-13, and N -15 have been observed in three-body final state reactions induced by heavy-ion beams at 6.5-9.0 MeV/nucleon from the FSU Tandem/LINAC. Wher e possible, branching fraction estimates are made. Improvements in the energy resolution of the detection system have allowed the observatio n of many previously unreported alpha-particle decays, several new tot al energy width determinations, and a few new excited state energies.
