Abstract
We present a coupled channel partial wave analysis of nondiffractive S -wave pi(+)pi(-) and K+K- photoproduction focusing on the K (K) over b ar threshold. Final state interactions are included. We calculate tota l cross sections and angular and effective mass distributions in both pi pi and <K(K)over bar> channels. Our results indicate that these pro cesses are experimentally measurable and valuable information on the f (0)(980)resonance structure can be obtained.
