Abstract
We investigate anomalous diffusion generated by iterated maps and anal yze the motion in terms of the probabilistic Levy walks. We present ex pressions for the mean-squared displacement and for the propagator, wh ich deviate from those for Brownian motion. The theoretical results ar e corroborated by numerical calculations.
