Abstract
The Auger Observatory presents novel challenges for triggering and dat a acquisition. The large area (3000 km(2) for each of 2 sites) and lar ge number of sensors (1600 per site) make the use of traditional wired connections impractical. IF. this paper I describe trigger and data a cquisition systems incorporating radio links which have been designed for the a,ger Observatory.
