Abstract
This paper presents the development of the JET Control and Data Acquis ition System over the lifetime of SET. It presents a short overview of the original design. It traces the development including the change o f operating system (to UNIX) and the addition of VME and PC based diag nostic subsystems to the original CAMAC-only systems. The increase in data collected and stored will also be presented.
