Abstract
The chemical reagents on the surface and in the cavities and pores of a filter bed or of soil layers can result in an external and/or intern al colmataging process. The described laboratory model and the mathema tical approach can be used for the evaluation of the process in the fu nction of the process time and/or of the filter depth.
