Abstract
Three patients with patent ductus arteriosus and moderate aortic steno sis had a marked reduction in aortic valve gradient following transcat heter ductal occlusion. The hemodynamic effects of an aortopulmonary s hunt on the severity of left ventricular outflow obstruction and the i mplications on intervention are discussed.
