Abstract
The non-unique first-forbidden beta decays of Tl-201, Pb-208, and Hg20 6-208 are calculated in terms of the shell model with different intera ctions and model space. The calculated log f(0)t value very sensitivel y depends on the effective interactions used in diagonalizing the ener gy matrix. The beta decay modes for Hg-206 and Hg-208 are also compare d.
