Abstract
This article outlines the perioperative and long-term management of ch ildren undergoing tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanostomy with tube insertion, and sinus surgery. Indications for complications of each o f the procedures is reviewed in this article. The authors also cover t he management of children with tracheostomies. Several questions frequ ently asked by parents oi children with a tracheostomy are addressed.
