Abstract
This study suggests a macroheterogeneity in prevalence of platelet gly coprotein PLA1/A2 polymorphism in different ethnic populations. in pat ients undergoing percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, this polymorphism does not represent an independent risk factor but seems t o be implicated in restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty.
