Tunneling experiments with Bi2223 reveal that a decrease in the carrie
r concentration shifts the boundary frequency omega(0) of the cuprate
phonon spectrum towards higher frequencies from omega(0) = 98 mV (T-c
= 113 K) to omega(0) = 106 mV (T-c = 107 K) with an insignificant supp
