Abstract
Dimolybdenum dithallium diphosphate Tl2Mo2P2O11, is isotypic with K2Mo 2P2O11. Its framework is built from the original Mo2P2O15 unit, formed by one Mo2O11 group sharing four of its corners with two PO4 tetrahed ra, leading to [Mo2P2O13](infinity) chains running along c. The [Mo2P2 O11](infinity) framework forms two different intersecting tunnels runn ing along c and [110], where the TI+ ions are located.
