Abstract
The results of the structure determination of the title compound, H-az epin-2-one-O)di(nitrato-O,O')dioxouranium(VI), revealed that the urany l ion is coordinated to six O atoms, two of which are from the carbony l groups of the caprolactams and the other four are from the two nitra te groups. Average U-O distances are 2.531 (7) (nitrate) and 2.360 (5) Angstrom (carbonyl).
