Abstract
The structure consists of an amide group linked to a p-chlorophenyl gr oup and a 2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one ring. The compound is typical of a se ries of analogues synthesized in order to investigate their antibiotic activities in comparison with natural products [Valla, Giraud, Michai lidis, Labia, Morand & Ginderow (1993).
