Abstract
The regions of stability of coherent Josephson oscillation in a chain of Josephson tunnel junctions with nonlocal electrodynamic coupling we re studied by means of a numerical simulation of the dynamics of this structure using the Wertheimer macroscopic theory of Josephson junctio ns. The possibility of using these systems to develop generators of na rrow-band electromagnetic radiation at frequencies of 1 THz is discuss ed. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
