Abstract
The hydrogen 2, 6-pyridinedicarboxylate anions in methylphenylammonium hydrogen 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylate, C7H10N+.C7H4NO4-, are linked by a hydrogen bond [O...O = 2.472(2) Angstrom] into a zigzag chain; the me thylphenylammonium cations are linked to the chain by four N...O/N...N hydrogen bonds.
