Abstract
The grain legumes, viz., greengram, cowpea and clusterbean intercroppe d with main crop of pearl millet (2:1) following uniform (45 cm) and p aired (30 cm) row spacing, along with four sole crop treatments, were studied adopting RED, with four replications, during 1986 to 1993 on s andy loam soil (Typic Ustipsamments). The results for the years 1987, 1989 and 1992 were not considered due to crop failure. The study revea led that on the basis of net realization, CBR and LER, pearl millet in tercropped with clusterbean with a row ratio of 2:1 was superior among different intercropped treatments.
