Abstract
An X-ray interference phenomenon associated with the superposition of reflected waves corresponding to the different diffraction types may b e observed for finite polyhedral crystals. Using plane-wave solutions, the interference patterns are analyzed for the two specific geometrie s of the crystal profile. The computer simulations supplement the theo retical inferences and fit the experimental results.
