Abstract
Momentum transfer via Kirchhoff radiation of electrostatic electron an d ion-cyclotron-harmonic waves contributes an enhanced collisionality far in excess of that given by the Fokker-Planck term In the existing neoclassical models. The resultant particle and thermal transport rese mbles the observed anomalous transport in ohmically heated toroidal pl asmas. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
