INFLUENCE OF EXOGENOUS PHYTOHORMONES ON AGE-RELATED-CHANGES OF THE CUT FLOWER TISSUES IN THE HYBRID FLEUR-DE-LIS AND THE LEVEL OF CYTOKININS AND ABSCISIC-ACID IN ITS PERIANTH

We studied the effect of 6-benzylaminopurine and indolylacetic and abs cisic acids on age-related changes in the cut flower of the fleur-de-l is and the state of membranes and endogenous levels of cytokinins and abscisic acid in the perianth tissues. These hormones were shown to un dergo changes during aging of the fleur-de-lis perianth. It has been p roposed that the positive effect of 6-benzylaminopurine is related to an increased content of endogenous cytokinins in the perianth tissues and to their positive influence on the state of membranes. We present the results of testing of some protective solutions on the viability o f cut generative shoots of the fleurde-lis.
