Abstract
A simple, elegant and one-pot synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-4-phenylcoumari ns, 4-phenylcoumarins and their derivatives by making use of solid sup port, montmorillonite K-10 clay in conjunction with microwave irradiat ion is described.
