Abstract
Further most interesting comparative results are reported by Sistemar on another CLT installation. The 1995-built 70,000 dwt bulk carrier Pa iute was recently retrofitted with a CLT propeller in the Philippines, to replace a conventional FP design. Fuel savings of not less than 9% were recorded, while hull vibration levels were reduced, and manoeuvr ability improved.
