Abstract
At the end of April, RINA held a two-day international conference in London, which was attended by more than 80 delegates from 12 countries . Seventeen technical papers, each of the highest quality, were read, as well as two special addresses. In addition, unusually lengthy perio ds were allocated to general discussions amongst delegates and authors . David Anderson reviews the event.
