This event was subsequently hosted by the Institution on May 28 at the request of the UK Department of the Environment, Transport a nd the Regions (DETR), to discuss the report. The surveys had been rec ommended by Lord Donaldson's Assessment of December 1995 and commissio ned by UK Government and the European Commission.
