Abstract
It is shown that contrastreaming dust and ion beams in dusty plasmas a re unstable against dust-acoustic and dust ion-acoustic disturbances, respectively. Analytical expressions for the growth rates and threshol ds are presented. The relevance of our investigation to cometary plasm as has been pointed out.
