Abstract
A study was conducted to evaluate the accuracy of casts made from stoc k: tray and custom tray impressions using polysiloxane impression mate rial. The results indicate that all casts distort but that impressions made from custom trays were more accurate and consistent in reproduct ion than were stock tray impressions.
