Hm. Li et al., ON-CAPILLARY RAMAN-SPECTROSCOPY OF NUCLEOSIDE BORATE COMPLEXES SEPARATED BY ISOTACHOPHORESIS/, The Journal of microcolumn separations, 10(5), 1998, pp. 449-453
On-capillary normal Raman spectroscopy with 532 nm excitation is used
as a detection method for capillary isotachophoresis (ITP) of the nucl
eosides: adenosine, cytidine, guanosine, and uridine. The compounds ar
e separated as their berate complexes between leading electrolyte 0.1
M Cl-, pH 7.5, and terminating electrolyte 0.1 M B(OH)(4)(-), pH 10. T
he Raman spectra of the nucleoside/borate complexes are presented. Add
itionally, Raman spectra are obtained from separated adenosine and ade
nosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP). Starting concentrations in the range 5.0
x 10(-6)-5 x 10(-4) M are employed. Preconcentration factors of at le
ast 10(3) are observed. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
