T. Lopezrios et E. Sandre, APPLICATION OF SERS TO STUDY CHEMICAL-VAPOR-DEPOSITION PROCESSES - THE EXAMPLE OF DIAMOND FILMS, Journal of Raman spectroscopy, 29(8), 1998, pp. 733-737
The use of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) for chemical vapor
deposition (CVD) investigations is reviewed. As an example, CVD diamo
nd growth from CH4 and H-2 assisted by a hot filament was studied in s
itu using SERS. trans- Polyacetylene formation during diamond growth w
as clearly demonstrated. The possible role of polyacetylene in diamond
formation is discussed. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
