Abstract
A comprehensive theory of the interaction of C-12 and O-16 with nuclei , considering both mean-field and two-body nucleon-nucleon interaction s is discussed. The excitation functions of a large number of reaction s extending over several hundred MeV incident energies induced in the bombardment of Rh-103 With C-12 and O-16 and residue recoil range dist ributions are very satisfactorily reproduced.
