We have studied transport properties in a superconductor-semiconductor
-superconductor junction formed by two superconducting Nb electrodes a
nd a two-dimensional electron gas in an InAs/AlSb heterostructure in t
he ballistic regime on the basis of I-V measurements. We observe sharp
spikes in the differential resistance at temperatures below 2.5 K whi
ch can be explained by quasiparticle interference effects, which are r
elated to Andreev bound states. [S0031-9007(98)06969-5].
