Abstract
We demonstrate the first diode pumped, Kerr-lens mode locked fs-laser which is completely dispersion compensated by chirped mirrors, Low los s chirped mirrors together with advanced pump diodes permitted the gen eration of transform limited 65 fs pulses with a mode locked output po wer of 70 mW in a prismless cavity. The influence of intrinsic colquir iite properties on the pulse width is discussed, and a possible explan ation of the low HOD-impact on the shortest pulses is derived.
