Abstract
Scientific findings reported here show that TL-emission lines are also possible in the near i.r.-spectrum. CaF2: Tm, CaF2: Dy and CaSO4: Dy emit TL-light of high intensity in the near i.r. region, which can be measured with photodiodes and which is useful for dosimetry.
