B. Apagyi et al., INVERSION POTENTIALS DESCRIBING ELASTIC-SCATTERING OF C-12 NUCLEI AT E-CM = 11.254 AND 13.032 MEV, Acta physica Hungarica. Heavy ion physics, 8(1-2), 1998, pp. 75-87
Fixed-energy quantum inversion of phase shifts corresponding to elasti
c scattering of carbon nuclei at E-c.m. = 11.254 and 13.032 MeV is per
formed to get model independent potentials. Phase shifts belonging to
even angular momenta have been used as input data. The inversion poten
tial is in general smooth and real in the outer (10 - 12 fm less than
or similar to r) and inner (r less than or similar to 3 - 3.5 fm) regi
ons, between which it exhibits complex oscillations and a Pauli core.
These characteristic features of the inversion potentials need further
investigations in light of existing nuclear models.
