Abstract
The transition from steady to periodic flow in the wake of a sphere is studied in the Reynolds number range [150, 400]. The vortex shedding frequency as well as variation of amplitude and phase of oscillation h ave been measured. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris
