Abstract
Two different methods are used to process the data from measurements o f the plasma density profile in a nonsteady stage of the T-15 tokamak discharge during pulsed gas puffing. The profiles of the diffusion coe fficient and pinch velocity obtained by these methods are close to eac h other. A lack of experimental data leads to large relative errors in determining the absolute values of the particle transport coefficient and pinch velocity in the central region of the plasma.
