Abstract
We present a modified form of open-plus-closed-loop control for chaoti c oscillations described by a non-autonomous second-order ordinary dif ferential equation. The Duffing-Helmholtz oscillator is treated as a n umerical example to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of th e method. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
