Abstract
A procedure for the determination of titanium trace amounts with ion-e xchange preconcentration on the Amberlite CG-400 ion-exchanger in a fl ow-injection mode from solutions containing 1 M HCl and 0.3 M SCN- was developed. A 1-2 M HCl solution was used as an eluent. The flow rate was 0.3-1.2 mL/min at the stage of preconcentration and 0.3-0.7 mL/min at the stage of elution. The detection limit of titanium using the re action with diantipyrylmethane and SCN- was 1 x 10(-8) M.
