Abstract
A rapid atomic absorption procedure was developed for determining lead , copper, and cadmium in sugar and sugar-containing foodstuffs. It was shown that the ultrasonic pretreatment of test solutions makes the an alysis more rapid and improves its sensitivity The detection limits of Pb, Cu, and Cd in samples were 0.067, 0.013, and 0.004 mg/kg, respect ively.
