D. Morgan et Mr. Pennington, DECAY J PSI-]PHI(MM) DEMANDS THE F(0)(S-ASTERISK) BE NARROW/, Physical review. D. Particles and fields, 48(11), 1993, pp. 5422-5424
The nature of f(0)(S-) is revealed by its pole structure in the compl
ex energy plane. Data on pi pi-->pi pi, pi pi--><K(K)over bar>, and pp
-->pp pi pi(<K(K)over bar>) in the neighborhood of the <K(K)over bar>
threshold are described by unitary amplitudes with at least one nearby
pole, which sits on sheet II. However, we reiterate that results on J
/psi-->phi pi pi(<K(K)over bar>) decay require an additional nearby po
le on sheet III, forcing the f(0)(S-) to be narrow, in contradistinct
ion to the very recent claims of Zou and Bugg.
