Abstract
This paper will compare the transmission through electrically thin but t and overlap gaps. It is shown that in the limit as the gap widths go to zero, the transmissions are identical and the transmitted power ca n be minimized by choosing the gap depths as a quarter wavelength plus an integer number of half wavelengths.
