Abstract
This paper presents an efficient and accurate technique for computing the quasistatic matrix parameters of polygonal cross-section conductor s embedded in a layered dielectric medium. The method makes use of acc urate closed-form approximations of the dielectric Green's function, e ntire-domain basis functions, and quasianalytical evaluation of the Ga lerkin matrix entries. This results in a relatively small-size matrix which is both accurately and quickly generated. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
