Abstract
A new series of mixed-ligand complexes of copper(II) of the compositio n [Cu(AAA)(LA)(L)], where L = CHPHM, PHM, HTFMP, CTFMP, QNLDA or QNLA, have been synthesized by the interaction of copper(II) chloride dihyd rate, acetoacetanilide (AAAH), anthranilic acid (AAH) with the said li gands. The compounds so obtained were characterized by analytical data , molar conductances, magnetic measurements, electron paramagnetic res onance and infrared spectral studies. A square pyramidal geometry for these complexes has been proposed.
